Dear music lovers,
How do children become great musicians? How can highly gifted talents be encouraged even further? What else can they be taught and: what can be learned from two such talents in one lesson?
Ilya Scheps, himself a celebrated pianist, has been teaching both students and highly gifted children and young people at universities for many years. This gave rise to the idea of not only allowing the audience to hear the students’ fully prepared works, but also to accompany them for a short time during the learning process so that they can marvel at the results afterwards.
So not only can we expect a concert, but we are also very lucky to be able to look over the shoulders of two highly talented students, Sophie (10) and Alexander Wagner (15), and their teacher and experience something magical!
You can find more information about the students and their teacher below.
