Dear music lovers,

We are delighted to present the pianist Anastasia Yasko to you for the first time in the Musikstudio.

Anastasia Yasko was born in Kursk (Russia). She began playing the piano at the age of 4. She began her musical education at the Gnessins Music School in Moscow, in the class of Prof. Tatiana Shklovskaya. In 2014, she graduated with distinction from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Prof. Vera Gornostaeva. From 2014 to 2017, Anastasia deepened her soloist training at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where she also completed her master’s degree with Prof. Rolf Plagge with distinction.2018 to 2019 Anastasia Yasko completed her postgraduate studies with Prof. Jacques Rouvier.

Anastasia Yasko has been teaching piano as an assistant in Professor Rolf Plagge’s class at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg since 2018. After completing her doctorate at the Mozarteum, she was awarded the academic degree “Doctor of Philosophy” (Ph.D.) in 2020.

Anastasia Yasko has performed in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and Japan. She has performed with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra for Youth and the Kharkiv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. In August 2019, she performed at the Salzburg Festival as a prizewinner of the Mozarteum Summer Academy. In January 2021, her debut album “20th Century Russian Piano Sonatas” was released by ARS Produktion and nominated for the “Opus Klassik” award in two categories. At the beginning of 2023, Anastasia Yasko’s second album “Chopin Piano Works” will be released by ARS Produktion.
