Dear friends of music,

We are delighted to welcome the young and highly talented students of Prof. Gesa Lücker’s from the HfMT Cologne (Hochschule für Musik und Tanz) to the Musikstudio again this year. Most recently, a 2019 class of Prof. Lücker delighted audiences with Volume 2 of J. S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier. Now a new generation of students is stepping up to the plate with works exclusively by female composers. Pieces by Luise Adolphia Le Beau, Mel Bonis, Clara Schumann, Fanny Hensel and many more can be heard. A program off the beaten track that is sure to come up with one or two surprises.
