Clarinet, saxophone and piano lessons for children, teenagers and adults

In German, English and Russian

Lisa Shklyaver is one of the most interesting musical interpreters of her generation. She is at home in the field of “historical performance practice” from early classical works to the repertoire of the 21st century, both musically and with appropriate contemporary instruments.
Russian-born clarinettist Lisa Shklyaver grew up in a family of musicians. She received her first piano lessons at the age of four from her father Igor Shklyaver. Seven years later she began her clarinet studies with her grandfather Joseph Shklyaver, continued her clarinet studies in St.-Petersburg with Prof. Valeriy Besrutschenko, in Karlsruhe with Prof. Wolfgang Meyer and in Trossingen with Prof. Chen Halevi (modern clarinet) and Prof. Ernst Schlader (historical clarinet).
Lisa Shklyaver regularly plays with various orchestras such as Anima Eterna Brugge, Elbipolis Hamburg, Göttingen Baroque Orchestra, L’Arte del Mondo and Concerto Classico Frankfurt. International tours take her to important concert halls around the world, including the Cologne Philharmonic, Concertgebow Bruges, Beethovenhalle Bonn, Opéra de Dijon, Lincoln Centre New York, Rudolfinum Prague, Salle Pleyel Paris, Frauenkirche Dresden, KKL Lucerne, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Opera House Sydney. She can also be heard as a soloist and chamber music partner at festivals such as Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci, Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival, Kulturwald – Festspiele Bayrischer Wald, La Chaise Dieu, Festival Internacional Cervantino (Mexico).
Lisa Shklyaver performed the Concerto in A major KV 622 for Clarinet and Orchestra by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with Anima Eterna Brügge under the baton of Jos van Immerseel in London, Antwerp and Munich.
